As a professionally trained, multi-agency represented talent, Ashley Marie has walked in 20+ runway shows, been featured as the cover model of fashion and beauty magazines, appeared in commercials, film, television, and stage plays. Credits include Aldi, YMCA, Pelle Pelle, Hype Hair Magazine, and Vibe Vixen Magazine. Within the fashion industry,her ultimate goal is to become the face and spokesperson of an upcoming beauty brand.
Ashley Marie's transition into acting came both naturally and as a necessity. "Commercial models are the actors of the modeling world," she explains. "Acting adds more depth in front of the camera," and showcases the versatility that makes her personal brand more marketable in a competitive market. Ashley Marie has done short films, TV, film, theater, commercials, and everything in between. Ashley Marie is currently preparing for her breakthrough role, with a training notch under her belt from Nick Conti in Atlanta. Her first taste of a major production came as she played background on a whim for the first episode of the FOX TV hit show "Empire." Fast forward to today and Ashley Marie will be featured in the upcoming film, set for release in 2019, "The Conformist" playing an outspoken law student named Effie.
Ashley Marie continues to inspire countless women & girls in her community, having served as Miss Black Michigan USA 2015. “As a model and pageant girl, I’ve learned the importance of having confidence in yourself. You have to know who you are in a room full of beautiful women,” says Ashley. Her biggest inspiration in life is to inspire legions of young women and girls to become the best version of themselves possible. Confidence and self-esteem are topics she is greatly passionate about, addressing audiences of over 400+ as a keynote speaker.
Ashley Marie's speaking endeavors led to her hosting Toledo Fashion Week 2016. In Fall of 2017, Ashley Marie returned to her alma mater to grow in her hosting abilities under the instruction of 22-time Emmy Award-winning reporter and host, Mike Castellucci. She looks forward to soon working as a red carpet correspondent at The Grammy's or any major awards show.
